The Rabbit That Lives
Its been over six years. since kiva's sister died. and she is Convinced that she will Never be Happy Again. because now her obsession with Death has reached a point to where she is creeping out almost everyone else around her. Creepy Kiki. and while her Rabbit Friends do love and support her. there is one Rabbit Friend of hers in particular who loves Creepy Things (and Rabbits) more than anyone else she's ever met. but he's also the one she's the least close with. a friend of her friends....well. perhaps there is no better time than Now for her to try to get to know him. especially now that she knows there's actually Three of him. including one Self of his that's been curiously elusive compared to the others...?
around 8.2k words in length. written in a casual communicative style that plays with and often disregards lexical conventions as a means of expression. are they really saying "lol" out loud? is this a stand-in for actual laughter? is it Situational? You decide

the atmosphere is on point. the way kiva talks combined with the visually dreamy nature and the haunting piano expresses this creepy vibe that's also elegant in a way.
i do relate to her feelings on death. i can't quite put it into words, but something about the way it bothers her is relatable. her and her friends are filled with so much personality and also love for each other
the dreams are some of the best parts to me because of all the different ways i could interpret it. maybe the imagery isn't as clear cut to some people but i look at those scenes and my mind tries to pick it apart and figure out what it "means" etc etc. maybe poolpark did actually communicate in her mind. perhaps a side effect of the virus (or maybe not lol idk)
i'm starting to see the vision. i wonder what else we'll see in the series
so good. i cannot particularly relate to Kiva's situation here but the stuff i can is extremely. yeah. i love how you write characters it all feels so real. i do really like kiva's writing here and her leaning on the rabbit metaphor to try and cope...wah. i love the friends so much. the writing style was a little jarring for me at first but once i got used to it i liked it a lot.
